"Ukrenergo" will limit electricity consumption for businesses.

On November 13, temporary power restrictions will be implemented for businesses and industrial consumers.

This was reported by the press service of NEC "Ukrenergo."

The reason is a short-term decrease in the capacity of maneuverable generation and a significant reduction in electricity import volumes.

The restrictions will be in effect throughout the day. In the evening, after addressing the equipment issues, the restrictions will be lifted.

“There are no restrictions planned for residential consumers,” the company emphasized.

“Ukrenergo” urged the public to use electricity wisely, especially during peak consumption hours.

“We encourage businesses to actively import electricity for their own needs to avoid forced power restrictions,” the company added.

It is noted that the consumption limits are a result of 9 massive attacks on the energy system since the beginning of the year.
