Next week, the Ministry of Finance will offer, for the first time since November of last year, not only hryvnia-denominated but also US dollar-denominated domestic government bonds. The NBU will publish comments on the increase of the discount rate and provide updated data on Ukraine's international reserves.
Monday, February 3
NBU. Publication of the results from the discussion among members of the Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) of the National Bank. These are released on the 11th day following the decisions and include anonymized positions of all MPC members regarding optimal monetary decisions, including alternative views and corresponding arguments. Recall that at the meeting on January 23, the discount rate was raised to 14.5%.
NBU. Results of the January survey of enterprises in Ukraine, which among other things includes the Business Activity Expectations Index (BAEI). Expectations are considered positive if the index exceeds the neutral level of 50 points.
According to December's results, the BAEI stood at 45.9 points. Entrepreneurs cited worsening security conditions, increased shelling of energy facilities and their prolonged recovery, rising business costs for wages, energy supply, and logistics, accelerating inflation, declining investment demand, a shortage of qualified personnel, as well as seasonality as constraining factors.
Tuesday, February 4
State Statistics Service. Publication of quarterly national accounts data.
Ministry of Finance. Placement of domestic government bonds.

Why should I become a Mind subscriber?
Mind UA is an independent business portal. We are not dependent on (and do not belong to) any political, oligarchic, or other groups. The project is created by a team of business journalists; we only engage portfolio investors.
Advertising revenues for media worldwide are rapidly declining. In the race for readership, tabloids and fact-manipulating resources prevail, chasing sensationalism. Unlike them, we strive to create truly useful and quality products to provide genuine added value for our readers.
True quality journalism requires a lot of time, effort, and expenses; it is indeed not cheap. But we believe in the prospects of quality journalism in Ukraine because we believe in Ukraine's future.
That is why we are creating the opportunity for a paid monthly subscription – Mind Club.
If you read us, if you like and appreciate what we do, we invite you to join the Mind community.
We plan to develop Mind Club: the volume of materials and available services and projects. Already today, all club members:
