This time, the recall is due to a defect in the drive inverter, which could result in a loss of control and an increased risk of accidents.

Tesla has announced the recall of 2,431 Cybertruck electric pickups in the U.S. due to a potential loss of power, which raises the risk of accidents. This marks the sixth similar recall from the manufacturer this year.

According to Reuters.

Last month, the company also reported the recall of over 27,000 Cybertrucks due to issues with a delay in the rearview camera image, which may limit the driver's visibility.

Tesla noted that the drive inverter defect in models produced from November 6, 2023, to July 30, 2024, could cause a loss of traction when pressing the accelerator pedal, increasing the risk of collision. The company plans to replace the faulty inverters with functioning ones at no cost.

The Cybertruck, which began deliveries in 2023 after a two-year delay, is drawing significant attention from investors as it is designed to revitalize Tesla's lineup and stimulate growth amid declining demand for electric vehicles. The company has yet to disclose precise figures regarding the production or delivery of this model.
