The Cabinet of Ministers has approved a list of goods whose export and import require licenses and are regulated by quotas for the year 2025.

According to Taras Kachka, Deputy Minister of Economy of Ukraine and Trade Representative of Ukraine, annual licensing and quota regulations help prevent potential shortages of essential goods in the domestic market.
“For instance, after Russian troops occupied Soledar, there has been a shortage of food salt in the Ukrainian market. Therefore, we have extended the licensing and quota regime for the export of this product. Once the domestic market becomes surplus, such restrictions will be lifted,” Kachka explained.
