A shell exploded at the "Army FM" radio station in Kyiv. The radio host was hospitalized.
This was reported to Suspilne by representatives of the radio station.
Earlier, the police of Kyiv informed about the incident. Law enforcement noted that information regarding the explosion was received on January 19 by the Pechersk police department. An investigative team and explosives experts were immediately dispatched to the scene.
Preliminary findings indicated that a military detonator, which was on display in the premises, had exploded. As a result of the explosion, a woman born in 1999 was injured and subsequently hospitalized.
A criminal proceeding has been initiated under Article 263 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – illegal handling of weapons, military supplies, or explosives. All circumstances surrounding the event are being investigated.
