The former head of Kyiv's metro has left Ukraine using a forged military commission document.

Law enforcement officials are conducting investigative actions against the former head of the "Kyiv Metro," who left Ukraine based on a forged conclusion from a military medical commission. 

The police of Kyiv reported this. 

"The medical commission's decision excluded the man from military registration due to an allegedly incurable disease," the statement reads.

According to the police, a criminal proceeding has been initiated regarding this matter, within which investigators from the capital's police are currently searching the enterprise's offices.

The authorities have not disclosed the name of the individual involved; however, according to media sources, it concerns Viktor Braginsky.

Viktor Braginsky is wanted under Article 367 of the Criminal Code for "Official Negligence." According to the investigation, the suspect failed to assess the risks of emergency situations at the facilities of the capital's metro and did not take measures to ensure the longevity of artificial structures and prevent their malfunctions.
