The Shevchenkivskyi District Court of Kyiv has placed the Chief Psychiatrist of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleg Druzi, in custody until March 20. He may be released on bail of 49 million UAH. He is suspected of illegal enrichment amounting to $1 million.

Druzi will remain in custody at a medical facility. He arrived at the hearing in an ambulance, with medical personnel present in the courtroom during the selection of the preventive measure. Just yesterday, his lawyer stated that Druzi had been discharged from the intensive care unit, noting that the suspect was in "extremely serious condition in the ambulance 'under IV drips'."
On January 21, the Security Service of Ukraine detained the chief psychiatrist of the Armed Forces, who serves as the deputy head of the Central Military Medical Commission and is responsible for decisions regarding the fitness of military personnel for service. According to the investigation, after the onset of the full-scale invasion by the Russian Federation, the suspect amassed over $1 million.
