«Мы готовим эпический 2026 год и фантастические 2027 и 2028»: Маск обещал прорыв в работе Tesla.

The financial results of the American electric vehicle manufacturer Tesla have declined amid falling demand. However, the company's head, billionaire Elon Musk, has once again managed to offset the quarterly drop with promises of a swift breakthrough in the company's operations.

Tesla's shares increased by 4% over the quarter. Since the previous quarterly financial report, the company's market capitalization has risen by more than 80%, according to Bloomberg.

The publication explains that investors are currently focusing on Musk's prospects under the new administration of Donald Trump, rather than just the numbers.

For the fourth quarter of 2024, Tesla's total revenue reached $25.7 billion, with a forecast of $27.2 billion, of which revenue from electric vehicle production was $19.8 billion.

This figure has decreased from $21.6 billion in the fourth quarter of 2023. The company attributes this decline to reduced prices across the entire model range. The operating margin for the quarter fell to 6.2%.

Musk promises a return to sales growth in 2025 (2024 marked the first decline in Tesla's history, down to 1.79 million units).

He also vows to launch a fully autonomous robotaxi "literally within five months."

Testing of full self-driving capabilities without human oversight is set to begin in Austin, Texas, in June, and by the end of the year in California and several other states.

"We are introducing new production lines, and in doing so, we are preparing for a truly epic 2026 and fantastic 2027 and 2028," Musk promised. "Fantastic. That’s my forecast."

Background. Meanwhile, it has been reported that Musk's SpaceX Starship exploded after launch into space. As a result of falling debris, airlines had to alter their flight paths.
