The Saudi Arabian football club "Al-Nassr" has completed its first transfer of the new year.
Ivorian midfielder Seko Fofana has left the club and returned to Europe.
"Al-Nassr" sold the player to the French club "Rennes" for €20 million. It’s worth noting that in the summer of 2023, he was acquired for a higher amount – "Lens," another French club, received €25 million.
This transfer marks a record sale in the history of "Al-Nassr."
Fofana spent only half a year at "Al-Nassr," as he was already loaned out to another Saudi Arabian club – "Al-Ettifaq" in January.
Overall, in the Middle East, Fofana played 41 matches over one and a half years, scoring 2 goals and providing 3 assists.
