American billionaire and entrepreneur Elon Musk has been nominated for the 2025 Nobel Prize.

This was announced on his Facebook by Branko Grim, a member of the European Parliament from Slovenia.

According to the politician, he nominated Musk due to his "consistent commitment to the fundamental human right of freedom of speech, and thus, peace."

Grim thanked everyone who supported this initiative. "The proposal for Elon Musk to receive the Nobel Peace Prize for 2025 for his ongoing support of the fundamental human right to freedom of speech, and thus peace, was successfully submitted today. Heartfelt thanks to all co-authors and everyone who assisted with this," he wrote in his post.
