The Ministry of Justice will review the complaint from the Ministry of Defense regarding the legality of changing the head of the State Enterprise "Defense Procurement Agency".
This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Justice.
It is noted that on January 30, a complaint from the Ministry of Defense regarding the appeal of the decision by private notary Ivashchenko N. V. dated January 29, 2025, concerning the amendments to the information about the head of the State Enterprise "Defense Procurement Agency," was submitted to the Board for the consideration of complaints in the field of state registration at the Ministry of Justice.
"The essence of the complaint lies in challenging the legality of the change of the head of the State Enterprise 'Defense Procurement Agency' from the acting director Zhumadilov A. K. to Bezrukova M. V., who was removed from her position by an order from the Ministry of Defense due to an ongoing internal investigation," the statement reads.
The Ministry of Defense believes that the decision to change the head was made in violation of legal requirements and the company's charter.
The Ministry of Justice will examine the complaint in accordance with the established legal procedure.
Within a week, this is already the third change of the head of the DPA in the state registry. Recall that on January 24, the Minister of Defense stated that he would not extend the contract with the director of the Defense Procurement Agency, Marina Bezrukova, contrary to the decision of the Supervisory Board. Additionally, Umierov recalled state representatives Chmut and Dzhyhir from the Supervisory Board. The minister "appointed" Arsen Zhumadilov from the State Rear Operator as the head of the DPA.
The Anti-Corruption Center stated that the Minister of Defense does not have the authority to appoint or dismiss the head of the agency and has filed a complaint against him with NABU for exceeding his official powers. The Bureau has opened a criminal proceeding against Umierov.
