Moldova has updated the rules for border crossing by foreign drivers. A new regulation has been introduced, requiring drivers to carry valid vehicle technical inspection certificates with them.
This was reported by the press service of the State Border Guard Service.
“The regulation now in effect mandates that drivers must have valid technical inspection certificates for their vehicles when entering the territory of their state (requirement of the Road Traffic Rules approved by the Government Decision of the Republic of Moldova dated 13.05.2009 No. 357),” the statement reads.
In the absence of this document, Moldovan border guards will deny entry of vehicles into their country.
