A 24-year-old defender from the Kharkiv region, Alexander Savoshchenko, has died in the war.
This was reported by the Telegram channel "Zolochivshchyna," as conveyed by "Dumka."
It is noted that the fighter was born in 2000 and grew up in Zolochiv. After getting married, he lived in the village of Ostrov in the Great Berezovitsa community of the Ternopil region. He served as a driver in an anti-aircraft machine gun company and participated in the fiercest combat zones alongside his comrades.
During the battles near Bakhmut, he sustained serious injuries but returned to service. However, on December 30, his heart stopped beating.
"Sincere, responsible, positive, sociable, cheerful… He will forever remain 24 years old. He will be buried in the Ternopil region. We bow our heads and share the pain of loss," the message states.
