The National Agency for Detection, Search, and Asset Management (ARMA) is verifying the participants in the competition for the management of the capital shopping center "Gulliver" to ensure they meet the qualification requirements.
ARMA Chairwoman Olena Duma reported this information.
"Immediately after the auction concluded, ARMA sent inquiries to the Security Service of Ukraine and the National Police of Ukraine to check the participants for any connections to the owner of the seized asset and the Russian Federation. The agency has already received some responses, and the available data partially confirms the previously published information in Ukrainian media," Duma noted.
As a reminder, on January 10, an auction for the selection of a manager for "Gulliver" took place on Prozorro. The winner of the competition was LLC "BK Millennium." The company offered the most favorable terms for the state – the lowest management fee of 0.15%.
Investigators from hromadske discovered that the chosen manager has ties to the former owner of the shopping center – Viktor Polishchuk. The founder of "Millennium," Volodymyr Myechov, denied this information.
Background. Earlier, Mind reported that the Bureau of Economic Security established that "Gulliver" did not pay 146 million UAH in taxes. The Bureau has sent an indictment to the court regarding the company's management.
