Wind and icy conditions may spoil the start of the weekend
On Saturday, January 4, cloudy weather with occasional clearings and light snow is expected in the capital and the surrounding region.
This is reported by Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center.
During the day, temperatures in the Kyiv region will range from -3°C to +2°C, while in Kyiv it will be around 0°C.
Winds will be from the west at 7-12 m/s, but gusts may reach 15-18 m/s during the day.
Icy conditions are anticipated on the roads.
“Weather conditions may lead to disruptions in the operations of energy, construction, and utility companies, as well as traffic movement,” noted the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center.
