Forecasters have provided a fresh outlook
On Monday, January 6, it will be slightly warmer in Kyiv and the surrounding region, although positive changes will be marred by precipitation.
This was reported by the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center.
“In Kyiv and the region on January 6 — overcast. No precipitation at night, but during the day there will be light wet snow and rain. Icy conditions are possible on the roads in some areas. The wind will be from the south at 7-12 m/s,” the forecasters warned.
According to their forecast, nighttime temperatures in the region will range from -3° to -8°, while during the day it will warm up to +4°. In Kyiv, nighttime temperatures will drop to -6°, and daytime thermometers will rise to +2°.
As of the morning, street thermometers in the capital showed -5° with a relative humidity of 88 percent and an atmospheric pressure of 748 mm of mercury.
Reminder, on January 5 temperatures in Kyiv did not exceed -1°.
