Last year, the demand for hybrid cars in Ukraine surged by 40%.

In 2024, Ukraine's vehicle fleet saw an addition of 23.9 thousand hybrid passenger cars (HEV and PHEV), which is a 39% increase compared to 2023.

This is reported by Ukravtoprom.

According to the announcement, the share of new cars in this total was 57%, down from 63% last year.

“In the segment of new passenger cars, the market leader for hybrids was the TOYOTA RAV-4 (3101 units),” noted Ukravtoprom.

At the same time, the second position was held by the TOYOTA Camry (781 units); third place went to the NISSAN Qashqai (777 units).

According to the agency, among registrations of imported used cars with hybrid powertrains, the FORD Fusion US took the lead (896 units).

Additionally, the top three included: TOYOTA Prius (609 units) and TOYOTA RAV-4 (586 units).
