"Putin stands bare and talks about tribes": Zelensky referred to the Russian dictator as a "mammoth."

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky referred to Vladimir Putin as a "mammoth," indicating that he is indifferent to any innovations, while rockets – unlike those of Elon Musk – are produced by the Russian dictator solely for the purpose of killing.

This statement was made during an interview with American podcaster Lex Friedman.

Friedman expressed hope that when Zelensky speaks Russian, he will be seen and heard by other Russians, including Putin.

Zelensky responded to this with skepticism.

"He's completely deaf. Even if he talks to you, he is essentially a deaf person. Do you understand the difference? You realize that when you... You are talking to (Elon) Musk – you are conversing with an innovator, a scientist, discussing rockets, how to save (on launching them into space. – Mind), how rockets return (after launch. – Mind). But he (Putin) sends rockets not to save, but to kill people," Zelensky stated.

"Do you think you can talk about technology with Putin? By the way, your guys interviewed (Putin. – Mind), and he told them about the history of a tribe. Just imagine a Russian person in his country – where is Musk, technology, Mars, artificial intelligence, and this one stands there with his bare backside talking about tribes?" the president sarcastically noted.

"Understand this, it seems to you that you are conducting an interview, like Mr. Tucker (Carlson. – Mind) did. And everyone thinks, oh, we are going to befriend them. What does 'befriend' have to do with it? He is different. He is simply different. In front of you stands a mammoth."

Background. Recall that Zelensky mentioned that Lukashenko apologized at the beginning of the Russian invasion for Russia launching rockets at Ukraine from Belarus. Lukashenko allegedly suggested to Zelensky to strike back at the Mozyr oil refinery.
