Россия намерена обменять космические технологии с КНДР на оружие, заявил Блинкен.

Russia plans to share its advanced space and satellite technologies with North Korea in exchange for weapons and other equipment from Pyongyang to support Moscow's war against Ukraine.

This was stated by U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken, as reported by Yonhap.

“We have reason to believe that Moscow intends to share advanced space and satellite technologies with Pyongyang,” he declared at a joint press conference.

Blinken made this statement following a meeting with South Korean Foreign Minister Park Jin in Seoul.

He suggested that Russian dictator Vladimir Putin may be close to revising his long-standing policy by deciding to cooperate with North Korea on its nuclear program.

The Secretary of State emphasized that this issue is a priority not only for the United States but also for South Korea and Japan.

Background. Previously, Mind reported that Blinken called Ukraine's operation in Kherson “important” for negotiations. The Secretary of State noted that even if negotiations take place, Ukraine will still require “adequate security guarantees.”
