On the morning of January 28, Russian drones attacked Odesa, resulting in damaged buildings, burned cars, and four people injured.

This was reported via Telegram by the head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, Oleg Kiper.

The debris from the downed UAVs damaged windows in four residential high-rises and five summer homes. Additionally, as the official mentioned, 10 cars caught fire in one of Odesa’s residential areas, and a grain storage facility was also damaged.

“As a result of the drone attack, four individuals were injured. A 91-year-old man was hospitalized, while others received assistance on-site,” Kiper informed.

According to the State Emergency Service, apartments on the 18th floor of one residential complex in Odesa were damaged. Rescuers freed a person trapped in an apartment on the 19th floor. Psychologists provided support to 15 individuals.

According to Odesa's Mayor, Hennadiy Trukhanov, one of the city schools was damaged due to the attack. He announced the establishment of an operational headquarters where, as he stated, residents can apply for financial assistance and receive materials for temporarily sealing openings.
