Российские военные намерены перебросить часть своей техники в Африку, согласно данным разведки.

The Russians intend to transport part of the military equipment that currently remains in Syria to Libya in Africa.

This was reported on social media by the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine.

At the naval base in the Syrian city of Tartus, the Russians are awaiting their military ships to transport military equipment and weaponry, as stated in the report.

Among those present at the base are mercenaries of the "African Corps," which is under the control of the Russian Ministry of Defense.

On January 5, the Russian large landing ships "Ivan Gren" and "Alexander Otrakovsky," as well as the cargo vessel Sparta, are expected to arrive at the Syrian port – they are currently en route to Tartus in the Mediterranean Sea.

Onboard the "Otrakovsky" is Captain 1st Rank Yuri Davityan, the chief of staff of the 121st brigade of landing ships of the Russian fleet.

On January 8, two more Russian vessels – the multipurpose cargo ship Sparta II and the tanker "Ivan Skobelev" – are scheduled to enter Tartus, currently crossing the Strait of Gibraltar.

Another Russian military ship, the frigate "Admiral Golovko," plans to refuel.

In the meantime, in Russia, at one of the airfields in the Vladimir region, armored personnel carriers that were likely transported from Syria have been unloaded.
