Russians opened fire on two civilians in Toretsk.

Military personnel of the Russian army killed two and injured one civilian – an investigation has been initiated.

This was reported by the Donetsk Regional Prosecutor's Office.

According to the investigation, on November 21, 2024, at 18:00, representatives of the aggressor state once again cynically violated the norms of international humanitarian law.

“Russian military personnel entered one of the apartments in a residential area of Toretsk, where three civilians were present. The occupiers deliberately opened fire on them with automatic weapons, resulting in the immediate deaths of two local residents. A man who was nearby sustained injuries, including fractures of the shoulder and collarbone,” the statement reads.

It is noted that the injured individual is currently receiving qualified medical assistance.

Under the procedural guidance of the Bakhmut District Prosecutor's Office, a pre-trial investigation has been launched regarding the commission of a war crime that led to loss of life.

The prosecutor's office added that investigative actions are being conducted to establish all circumstances of the mentioned event.
