On the night of January 23, Russian forces shelled Zaporizhzhia. Four missile strikes were carried out, resulting in the death of a 47-year-old man and injuring 16 others.
This was reported on Telegram by the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, Ivan Fedorov.
Among the injured is a two-month-old infant who has been hospitalized. Additionally, two employees of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine were affected. Their condition has been assessed by medical professionals as moderate. Five more individuals are in serious condition, the official clarified.
“Due to the strike, residential buildings in Zaporizhzhia were damaged. Windows were shattered and roofs were destroyed by the blast wave,” Fedorov wrote.
A video showing a destroyed house hit by a Russian missile was published by the head of the Regional Military Administration.
