Ukrainian defense forces struck a Russian headquarters with HIMARS, resulting in the elimination of three officers, according to the Main Intelligence Directorate.

The Defense Forces eliminated three officers from the command staff of the Russian occupation forces as a result of a successful operation conducted by the Active Actions Department of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense, the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), the Drone Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and the operational group of troops "Tavria."

This information was reported by the press service of HUR.

It is noted that the agency's employees obtained information about a planned meeting involving officers from the command of the 4th Guards Military Base of the Russian occupation forces, who are participating in the criminal war against Ukraine in the Zaporizhzhia region.

"After verifying and confirming the data, military intelligence officers developed an operation plan, which was supported by the forces and means of the operational group 'Tavria,' the SBS, and the tactical group 'Typhoon' of the SBU," the HUR stated.

According to intelligence reports, immediately after the start of the field meeting regarding the gathering of Russian officers and their vehicles, a precise HIMARS strike was delivered, and after the arrival of the invaders' evacuation group, Ukrainian Security and Defense Forces' strike drones attacked.

As a result of the operation, three officers of the Russian occupation forces were eliminated:

• Captain Nahornyi Dmytro Olegovych, commander of the 1st Battalion of the 135th Motorized Rifle Regiment of the Russian Armed Forces;
• Captain Krokhmaliov Hryhorii Oleksandrovych, deputy chief of staff for intelligence, head of intelligence for the 135th Motorized Rifle Regiment of the Russian Armed Forces;
• Captain Fomin Yurii Viktorovych, commander of the anti-aircraft battery of the 4th Guards Military Base of the Russian Armed Forces.

In addition, 5 units of the occupiers' automotive equipment were destroyed.
