The defense forces struck a Russian ammunition depot in the Bryansk region of the Russian Federation.
This is reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Following the strike on the depot, there were at least 12 secondary explosions and detonations. Andriy Kovalenko, the head of the Center for Counteracting Disinformation, claims that this facility stored, among other things, munitions from North Korea.
There may have also been aerial bombs, anti-aircraft missiles, and ammunition for multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS).

According to Tsenzor.NET, the strike on the Russian depot was carried out using American ATACMS ballistic missiles. This marks the first instance of the Armed Forces of Ukraine using this weaponry on Russian territory.
The city of Karachev, near which the depot is located, is situated approximately 110 km from the border with Ukraine.
