Defense forces shot down 34 enemy drones during the night.

On the night of January 16, 2025 (from 8:00 PM on January 15), the enemy launched an attack using 55 strike drones of the "Shahed" type and various types of imitation drones.

This was reported by the press service of the Air Force.

"As of 9:00 AM, the destruction of 34 strike drones of the 'Shahed' type and other types of drones has been confirmed in the Poltava, Sumy, Kharkiv, Cherkasy, Chernihiv, Kyiv, Zhytomyr, Kirovohrad, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Mykolaiv regions," the statement reads.

According to the Air Force, several drones hit a farm in the Chernihiv region, and as a result of the downed enemy drones' debris, private homes in Kharkiv and Poltava were damaged.

Another 18 enemy imitation drones have been lost in location (without negative consequences).
