The court has seized the property of former MP Tsarov, valued at 460 million UAH.

The court found former MP Oleg Tsaryov guilty of financing the war and confiscated his assets.

This is reported by the Office of the Prosecutor General.

The trial of Tsaryov was conducted in absentia, as he is located in Russia. Despite this, he was sentenced to 8 years in prison and had assets worth 460.6 million UAH confiscated:

• a land plot of 0.15 hectares in Kyiv region;
• an apartment in Dnipro;
• real estate in temporarily occupied Crimea: hotel and sanatorium complexes, dormitories, production facilities, and utility buildings.

Law enforcement officials explain that after the annexation of Crimea, Tsaryov registered his property on the peninsula according to Russian law. It has been established that money was transferred for the protection of his estate in Yalta.
