The court has once again placed MP Tyshchenko under round-the-clock house arrest.

In court, Tyshchenko stated that he is facing pressure from law enforcement officials.
Суд вновь постановил отправить нардепа Тищенко под круглосуточный домашний арест.

The court has re-elected the preventive measure for MP Mykola Tyshchenko, who, along with his security detail, is suspected of unlawfully depriving a former serviceman of liberty: two months of round-the-clock house arrest.

According to Radio Svoboda.

Tyshchenko attended the hearing via video link, while Pysarenko was present in the courtroom. The victim, former special forces member of the GUR Kraken, Dmytro Mazokha, was also on-site.

The prosecutor requested that Tyshchenko be placed under house arrest, stating that he might influence witnesses and evade law enforcement.

In court, Tyshchenko claimed he had not violated any investigative demands and alleged pressure from law enforcement officials.

“Currently, law enforcement officers visit me every day, in numbers of 7, 12, or 15 people. They loiter around my home, intimidate the residents of my building, disseminate false information about me, and approach the homeowners' association asking for video footage of my movements without any documentation or even identifying themselves. This violates absolutely all wartime regulations,” Tyshchenko stated, as reported by “Suspilne.”

Recall that on June 20, 2024, a group of unidentified individuals attacked former Kraken special forces fighter Dmytro Mazokha while he was out for a walk with his child in Dnipro. Video evidence suggests that Tyshchenko's security detail was involved, with whom Mazokha had a dispute. Law enforcement announced charges against Tyshchenko regarding the events in Dnipro on June 25.

On June 25, the Pechersk District Court of Kyiv placed Tyshchenko under a preventive measure. By the court's decision, he is to remain under round-the-clock house arrest, wear an electronic bracelet, and surrender his foreign passports. On November 12, the Kyiv Court of Appeal extended Tyshchenko's preventive measure in the form of house arrest. On December 23, citing heart problems, Tyshchenko did not appear at the court hearing. The court did not extend the preventive measure for the MP.

Background. Earlier, Mind reported that MP Mykola Tyshchenko, who was expelled from the "Servant of the People" party for traveling to Thailand during the full-scale invasion, may be involved in a scheme for the illegal appropriation of property worth one million dollars. In particular, journalists from Bihus.info discovered that a house with a pool in the elite village of Kozyn was registered to the former manager of a restaurant owned by Tyshchenko.
