С 1 января тарифы на транспортировку природного газа вырастут в 4 раза – решение НКРЕКП.

The National Commission for State Regulation in the Spheres of Energy and Public Utilities (NERC) has adopted a resolution to establish new tariffs for the transportation of natural gas for LLC "Gas Transmission System Operator of Ukraine" for the years 2024–2029. The resolution will come into effect on January 1, 2025.

This was reported by the regulator's press service.

"In 2024, 85% of revenue comes from gas transported from the Russian Federation. This means that 15% is what we receive from domestic customers. The increase in tariff is insufficient for full compensation, but we agree; we understand that the economy of Ukraine requires balanced and fair solutions," said the CEO of "Gas Transmission System Operator of Ukraine," Dmytro Lippa.

According to the draft resolution, the entry/exit tariff for international points to the Ukrainian gas transmission system is set to double:

  • from €4.1/1,000 cubic meters to €10.3/1,000 cubic meters for most entry points to the Ukrainian GTS;
  • from €7.6–8.6/1,000 cubic meters to €14.6–15.8/1,000 cubic meters for most exit points from the Ukrainian GTS.

The tariffs for entry/exit from the GTS for domestic points will increase by more than four times:

  • from 101.93 UAH/1,000 cubic meters to 464.87 UAH/1,000 cubic meters for domestic entry points to the GTS;
  • from 124.16 UAH/1,000 cubic meters to 505.5 UAH/1,000 cubic meters for domestic exit points from the GTS.
