The National Commission for State Regulation in the Spheres of Energy and Public Utilities (NERC) has adopted a resolution to establish new tariffs for the transportation of natural gas for LLC "Gas Transmission System Operator of Ukraine" for the years 2024–2029. The resolution will come into effect on January 1, 2025.
This was reported by the regulator's press service.
"In 2024, 85% of revenue comes from gas transported from the Russian Federation. This means that 15% is what we receive from domestic customers. The increase in tariff is insufficient for full compensation, but we agree; we understand that the economy of Ukraine requires balanced and fair solutions," said the CEO of "Gas Transmission System Operator of Ukraine," Dmytro Lippa.
