The grouping of defense forces and resources in Kyiv, in collaboration with the KMVA, patrol and national police, and other structural units, will conduct training exercises in various districts of the capital.
This is reported by the KMVA press service.
These drills involve the establishment of temporary checkpoints, placement of restrictive signs, and elements of engineering barriers. As part of the training, procedures for checking vehicles and documents, as well as certain demonstration, search, and counter-sabotage activities will take place.
"The main objective of the exercises is to enhance the management system, organization, and effective interaction to ensure public safety (in case of a situation escalation) and specific measures for the protection of the civilian population," the statement reads.
It is emphasized that such training in Kyiv will continue systematically. As explained by the KMVA, these exercises are necessary to better prepare for the defense of Kyiv and its residents against potential threats.
