In Transnistria, rolling blackouts will be implemented this evening due to a shortage in the region's energy system.
The so-called "Ministry of Economic Development of the PMR" reported this in a Telegram post.
According to the "department," power outages will be scheduled from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM in the region, as residents are currently consuming more electricity than the energy system can produce.
It is noted that electricity is expected to be cut off for one hour in the cities of Tiraspol, Ribnita, and Bender, as well as in several villages.
“Due to the duration of the technological process, the time for switching off and on the electricity may be extended by up to 30 minutes,” the message states.
