A passenger plane caught fire at Gimhae International Airport, located near the South Korean city of Busan.

According to the publication, the regional airline Air Busan flight was scheduled to depart for Hong Kong but ignited before takeoff. The incident occurred around 22:26 local time (approximately 15:30 Kyiv time).
It is noted that all 169 passengers and seven crew members on board were evacuated using an inflatable slide. During the evacuation, three individuals sustained injuries.
According to the report, although the fire started in the tail of the aircraft, the flames also spread to the fuselage.
Background. Previously, Mind reported that on December 29 in South Korea, a massive aviation disaster occurred. There were over 180 people on board the plane that crashed. At least 167 individuals lost their lives as a result of the plane accident.
