The outgoing year has been much better than it could have been. If our military had not killed and wounded 423 thousand enemies this year, nor destroyed over 4 thousand Russian tanks, along with tens of thousands of other military equipment and numerous military facilities in the territory of the Russian Federation, then the territorial losses would have been colossal.
As it stands, in 2024, Russians paid the highest price since the beginning of the great war, as the enemy personnel and equipment destroyed surpassed that of 2022 and 2023.
This year, the number of struck and destroyed enemy targets increased nearly fourfold.
This year, we halted the offensive in the Kharkiv region and preempted the offensive in the Sumy region.
The Kursk operation. This is a unique chapter in the history of Ukraine and this war. Finally, we have brought the war to their territory.
In short, our military has made this year better than it could have been.
I could write a lot about the negatives as well, but I won't.
I want to wish us all faith in our strength and collective maturity in 2025.
And may this year finally bring us peace!
Secretly, I dream that we do not step into the magical circle of our historical mistakes. After all, we are already standing with one foot in that circle.
