This was stated by the spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Georgiy Tikhiy.

“Right now, historic, tectonic processes are taking place: a new administration is coming in the USA, as well as in European countries. The peace formula remains the foundation for a fair resolution of the war. That is absolutely unchanging,” he said.

According to Tikhiy, Ukraine has already held all thematic conferences that agreed on common positions regarding the points of the peace formula.

“Currently, Ukraine can be said to be in a strong diplomatic position because everything is prepared. However, of course, for this summit to take place and be effective, proper preparation is needed. The timelines that were mentioned were tentative, and Ukraine always strives to do everything as quickly as possible, as you know,” Tikhiy stated.

He added that the work on the preparations is still ongoing.

“A summit or an event just for the sake of having an event is not needed; something productive is required,” the MFA spokesperson noted.
