This was reported by the head of the Center for Countering Disinformation under the National Security and Defense Council, Andriy Kovalenko.

“The Tambov powder factory, which has been attacked multiple times, is a crucial element of the Russian military-industrial complex involved in the war against Ukraine,” noted the head of the CCD.

According to him, this factory produces powders used for various types of firearms, artillery, and rocket systems. Additionally, it manufactures collodion, which is utilized in the creation of explosives and other specialized products.

The enterprise is one of the main suppliers of explosive materials for the Russian army, and since the onset of the full-scale war in Ukraine, production at the factory has significantly increased.
