Vladimir Zelensky has signed a law concerning the formation and maintenance of a list of terrorist organizations (groups).

The document was returned with the president's signature on January 7, according to the parliament's website.

Organizations involved in terrorist activities within Ukraine or abroad, as well as those posing a threat to national security, will be included in this list.

Such a list will include organizations regardless of whether they have legal entity status or are registered with authorized bodies in Ukraine or foreign states.

The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) will form and maintain the list. It will be public and published on the official SBU website and the Unified State Web Portal of Open Data. Once an organization is added to the list of terrorist groups, it will be possible to impose economic and other types of sanctions against it.
