On November 25, the Ministry of Agrarian Policy, in collaboration with the State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection and the Ministry of Digital Transformation, will launch the Unified State Register of Pets.
Details about this initiative can be found on the website of the State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection.
It is noted that the implementation of the register is made possible through financial support from donors. The launch will occur in two phases.
The first phase involves the authorization of state and private veterinary institutions.
To facilitate this, a portal has been created for state and private veterinarians, along with a series of training webinars. Additionally, technical support for veterinarians will be available via phone and chat throughout November and December, where they can receive guidance on the authorization process.
Meanwhile, the second phase will involve a campaign for the registration of pets, scheduled for early 2025. Further announcements will follow.
For Reference.
The Unified State Register of Pets is a government register on the "Diia.Engine" platform, where data about cats, dogs, and ferrets will be stored: including the pet's name and description, vaccination and bio-sterilization information, owner or keeper contact details, and other vital health-related information about the animals.
Background. Earlier, Mind reported that Ukraine is launching a unified register of bus stations. Inclusion in this register is a mandatory condition for providing services to carriers and passengers.
