Military veterans will receive quarterly payments: what amount?

The Cabinet of Ministers has approved the introduction of a quarterly grant of 1500 UAH for sports activities for combat veterans and individuals with disabilities due to the war.

This was reported by the Cabinet representative in the Verkhovna Rada, Taras Melnychuk.

According to him, the proposal from the Ministry of Veterans Affairs regarding the implementation of a two-year experimental project to provide assistance for physical culture and sports to combat veterans and individuals with disabilities due to the war has been agreed upon.

It is expected that the assistance for physical culture and sports will be provided to combat veterans and individuals with disabilities due to the war who are 18 years old and have a registration number of their taxpayer card.

As stated by MP Oleksiy Honcharenko, the Cabinet of Ministers plans to provide veterans with 1500 UAH quarterly for sports activities. Payments will begin on January 15, and to receive the funds, an application must be submitted through the "Diia" portal.
