A fire broke out in a 10-story residential building in several apartments as a result of a Russian drone attack in Kyiv region.
This was reported by the press service of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration.
"The facade damage has been recorded on floors 6–9. All emergency services are working on-site. Evacuation of the building's residents has been carried out," the statement said.
In another locality, a fire occurred in a private two-story house covering an area of 120 m².
The acting head of the Kyiv Regional State Administration, Mykola Kalashnyk, reported two fatalities.
The deceased was found at the fire in the private house due to the collapse of debris from the downed target. The fire has now been extinguished.
The second victim was a 36-year-old man in another locality where a residential 10-story building was damaged. Two additional people sought medical attention after the fire. A 26-year-old man suffered superficial burns to his upper respiratory tract. A 38-year-old woman experienced an acute stress reaction.
The lists of those affected by the attack are being clarified, and they are receiving all necessary medical assistance. The fire has been extinguished.
The State Emergency Service press service reported the evacuation of 150 residents from the building.
The Hlevakha village council informed via Telegram about the establishment of a resilience point, urging affected individuals to seek assistance there.
Another deceased was found in a different locality of the region. The mayor of Brovary, Ihor Sapozhko, wrote on Telegram that 10 houses were damaged in the Brovary community.
As stated by the head of the Brovary District State Administration, Taras Bakay, on Facebook, a man was killed due to debris falling from enemy UAVs.
"According to neighbors, a man and his wife lived in the house. Information about the injured is being clarified," Bakay wrote.
