During the night, air defense forces shot down 36 out of 89 Russian drones, according to the Air Force.

On the night of November 27, 2024 (from 19:30 on November 26), the enemy launched an attack on Ukraine using 89 strike drones of the "Shahed" type and unidentified drones from the directions of – Orel, Bryansk, Kursk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Russia.

"As of 09:00, air defense has shot down 36 enemy drones in the regions of Kyiv, Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Poltava, Zhytomyr, Khmelnytskyi, and Mykolaiv," the statement said.

It was noted that 48 drones were lost in terms of location, likely due to the active countermeasures of the Defense Forces' electronic warfare. Additionally, 5 drones exited the controlled airspace towards Belarus, Russia, and temporarily occupied territories.

"Due to the debris from enemy drones, private and multi-apartment buildings, as well as citizens' property in the Kyiv region, were damaged. Preliminary reports indicate no casualties or injuries," the Air Forces reported.
