On the night of November 24, Russian forces launched 73 strike drones of the "Shahed" type and unmanned aerial vehicles of unspecified types from the Oryol and Bryansk regions of the Russian Federation at Ukraine.

"As of 09:00, air defense systems have shot down 50 enemy drones in Kyiv, Cherkasy, Kirovohrad, Chernihiv, Sumy, Poltava, and Zhytomyr regions," the statement reads.

Nineteen drones were lost in specific locations, likely due to active electronic warfare countermeasures by the Defense Forces. Four enemy drones are still in the air, and combat operations are ongoing.

It is noted that aviation, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare systems, and mobile fire groups of the Air Forces and Defense Forces were involved in repelling the attack.
