At the same time, the Ukrainian president believes that Trump could influence Russian dictator Putin and end the war.

"It will not be easy, but if all the levers of influence that the U.S. has are applied, then yes, he (Trump) can do it," Zelensky said. "Because he is much stronger than Putin. The U.S. is stronger. Their economy is stronger."

"The President of the United States has both power and authority and weapons," Zelensky continued the same thought in response to another question, "and he can lower energy prices. By the way, I heard signals in the press from President Trump that he is thinking about lowering energy prices, particularly oil. That is what needs to be done."
