Ukrainian biathlete Yulia Dzhima achieved an impressive result at the latest stage of the World Cup, finishing tenth in the women's sprint.
Dzhima did not miss a single target during the entire race.
This marks Yulia's third entry into the top ten in individual World Cup competitions this season. Her best result remains 4th place in the sprint in Ansi, along with an 8th position in the pursuit race at the same event.
The second Ukrainian to cross the finish line was Kristina Dytrenko, who also showcased excellent shooting by hitting all 10 targets, finishing in 24th place, just 4.2 seconds behind the top 20.
Olena Horodna had only one miss, but this kept her out of the scoring zone, finishing in 49th place. Iryna Petrenko came in 55th, trailing Horodna by just eight seconds.
Anastasia Merkusheva finished her second race of the season in 80th place. The Ukrainian incurred three penalty laps in the prone position and failed to hit one target in the standing shoot.
The winner was French biathlete Lou Jeanmonnot, who secured her fifth gold medal of the season. She triumphed in a fierce battle against German athletes Selina Grotian and the current overall leader Franziska Preuss.
