Yuliya Dzhima has secured a spot in the top 10 of the sprint event at the Biathlon World Cup.

The seasoned biathlete emerged as the top performer among Ukrainian athletes.

Ukrainian biathlete Yuliya Dzhima achieved an impressive result at the latest stage of the World Cup, finishing tenth in the women's sprint.

Dzhima did not miss a single target throughout the race.

This marks Yuliya's third entry into the TOP-10 in individual World Cup events this season. Her best result remains a fourth place in the sprint in Ancy, as well as an eighth position in the pursuit race at the same stage.

Second among the Ukrainians to finish was Kristina Dyatlenko, who also showcased excellent shooting by hitting all 10 targets, finishing in 24th place, just 4.2 seconds shy of the TOP-20.

Only one miss was recorded by Olena Horodna, which prevented her from finishing in the scoring zone – placing 49th. Iryna Petrenko finished 55th, trailing Horodna by just eight seconds.

Anastasia Merkushina, in her second race of the season, concluded the competition near the top-80. The Ukrainian incurred three penalty laps during the prone position and was unable to hit one target in the standing shoot.

The winner was French biathlete Lou Jeanmonnot, who secured her fifth gold of the season. She triumphed in a fierce battle against German athletes – Selina Grotian and current overall leader Franziska Preuss.
