In 2024, the ports of Odesa processed over 97 million tons of cargo. This marks a 57% increase compared to 2023.
This information was shared in a Telegram post by the head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, Oleg Kiper.
Specifically, according to him, the ports of "Greater Odesa" transshipped 79.9 million tons, while the Danube ports handled 17.3 million tons. The majority of this was agricultural exports intended for various countries around the world.
Since the inception of the Ukrainian grain corridor, approximately 3,500 vessels have departed from the ports of Greater Odesa, the OVA added.
