Zelensky has extended the visa-free travel for citizens of the UK and Northern Ireland.

The relevant decree was published on January 3rd.

Vladimir Zelensky has extended the visa-free regime for citizens of the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland for another year.

The relevant decree was published on the President's Office website on January 3.

"To extend the visa-free entry regime to Ukraine and transit through the territory of Ukraine for citizens of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, provided that their stay in Ukraine does not exceed 90 days within 180 days, until January 30, 2026," the document states. The decree takes effect from the day of its publication.

The visa-free regime for citizens of Britain and Northern Ireland was introduced at the end of January 2020. Since then, the document has been signed multiple times.

Background. Previously, Mind reported that Britain allocated over 5 million euros in aid to Ukraine for prosecuting war crimes committed by Russians since the beginning of the full-scale invasion.
