Zelensky: Trump should understand that this war will still impact the USA, even if they withdraw from NATO.

He emphasized that North Korea will implement its newly acquired skills and technologies into large-scale production, posing a threat to the entire region.
Зеленский: Трамп должен понимать, что эта война всё равно затронет США, даже если они выйдут из НАТО.

US President Donald Trump needs to consider that the United States cannot remain indifferent to the aggression unleashed by Russia against Ukraine and Europe. This is particularly crucial as North Korea, which is currently involved in combat against Ukraine, will gain new military experience and technologies that it will bring back home and scale up, transforming it into a threat for the entire region.

This was highlighted by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in an interview with Lex Friedman, where he explained why a potential US exit from NATO would not guarantee safety for Americans.

"Even if America considers leaving NATO, this war will still affect America because North Korea is just the beginning. The skills and knowledge that North Korea is acquiring from this war include mastering new technologies, long-range drones, and missiles, understanding how modern warfare, technological warfare, and cyber warfare work – all these skills will be brought back by Korea and scaled in that region," Zelensky stated.

"This will pose a risk to the entire Pacific region, especially Japan and South Korea – and these risks will definitely exist, and it will, of course, be a risk for Taiwan. And this is already happening," he emphasized.

"Therefore, I believe President Trump has every opportunity to stop Putin and provide Ukraine with strong security guarantees," Zelensky concluded.

Background. In the same interview, the president stressed that without the US, Putin will destroy Europe, as it will be unable to withstand Russia and North Korea. He added that Ukraine has the largest army in Europe, which is four times bigger than the second-largest army.
