The Armed Forces of Ukraine today, January 2, conducted a precise strike on the command post of the occupying Russian army in the settlement of Mariyne, located in the Kursk region.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
It was noted that "all necessary measures" were taken to minimize the risks of this attack to the lives of local civilians.
"The primary aim of these fire strikes is to weaken the capability and willingness of the Russian Federation to carry out terrorist acts against the Ukrainian civilian population," the General Staff stated.
As a reminder: today, the head of the Center for Counteracting Disinformation, Andriy Kovalenko, announced that a strike was carried out against Russian occupiers in the Kursk region on January 2.
