The Ukrainian venture syndicate Toloka.vc has invested $1.65 million in the American AI platform Capacity.

The Ukrainian venture syndicate Toloka.vc has invested $1.65 million in the American omnichannel platform Capacity, which specializes in AI-driven customer support automation.

The investment was made as part of a Series D round, which totaled $26 million. It is noted that the investors wished to remain anonymous. The deal was finalized back in September 2024, but details were not disclosed until the end of the investment round.

The company's development is a multichannel platform that integrates a chatbot, helpdesk, support service, and analysis of voice and text messages. The platform is integrated with over 200 applications. The company holds 16 patents and utilizes a combination of proprietary voice and language models alongside publicly available large language models.

"In 2023, the global Helpdesk Automation market reached $8.4 billion, and various estimates suggest it will grow to $82.5 billion and $116.9 billion by 2032, with a growth rate of at least 28.1% during these years. Workflow automation is the next crucial step for companies aiming to achieve optimal or overall best business outcomes," comments the founder of Toloka.vc, Ihor Shoifot, on the deal.

The platform serves over 2,500 companies. Among the startup's clients are: Apple, Siemens, Zoom, Sony, DHL, Disney, Verizon, and Equifax.

To date, the total amount of investments attracted by the company exceeds $89 million. Recent investors in the company include: JAM FINTOP, Toloka, TVC Capital, Capacity Strive Ventures, and Capital Midwest Fund.

The company was founded in 2017 by David Karandish and is part of the Equity.com incubator. Its headquarters is located in St. Louis, USA. Over the past two years, Capacity has acquired eight companies, including: Textel, LumenVox, Denim Social, SmartAction, Cereproc, Lucy, Envision, and Linc.

It was previously reported that the Ukrainian syndicate Toloka invested in the American medical platform Persimmon.
