Emergency responders in Kharkiv region assisted in a childbirth on the way to the hospital.
This was reported by the Center for Emergency Medical Assistance and Disaster Medicine, as noted by "Dumka".
According to the center, a baby girl was born in the ambulance on December 20.
"At 13:46, an emergency call regarding childbirth was received by the '103' service. The emergency medical team 2310, consisting of paramedic Obushko and driver Nizhgoltsev, promptly responded," the medical staff stated.
On the way to the hospital, the woman began to give birth, so the team delivered the baby right in the ambulance.
As a result, a healthy girl weighing 2200 g and measuring 46 cm was born, scoring 8 points on the Apgar scale.
The infant was transported to the hospital along with her mother.
